CONSTRUCTION SCHOOL NAMED AFTER BUSINESS MANAGER BOB BROWN

CONSTRUCTION SCHOOL NAMED AFTER BUSINESS MANAGER BOB BROWN

The Rochester City School District recently named its new construction school at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center The Robert Brown School of Construction and Design. This school is scheduled to open next fall and will replace the Edison School of Applied Technology.

Local Rochester media has called Business Manager of Laborers Local 435 Bob Brown an unsung hero in Rochester's construction industry. And quoted his thoughts on the program "When they go through our program we will get them a job. A job to a young girl or boy who comes back into the community to live means a big thing to most of the community to have it done that way and I think if we get it started there's no end in sight."
