SAUGERTIES- To thank local veterans for their service, Laborers Local 17 partnered with Callanan Industries to fully repave and restore the American Legion Post 72 parking lot at no cost. The crew consisted of members from Laborers Local 17 in Newburgh, Local 190 in Glenmont, and Local 157 in Rotterdam.
The parking lot at Post 72 had fallen into disrepair, making it difficult for many to navigate it safely. Milling and restoring the expansive lot was too costly for the Post to undertake.
